Public Access to the Leitrim Wetland

The Leitrim Wetland is a beautiful natural feature in our community that’s accessible through the Findlay Creek Boardwalk.

The berm that runs along the wetland behind Helen Rapp Way and Netley Circle is an important piece of infrastructure and public access is not permitted along the berm or near water control structures.

The boardwalk will have a significant extension completed this year by South Nation Conservation (SNC), adding 540 metres of recreational trails for residents to enjoy.

Project updates can be found on SNC’s website at: Findlay Creek Boardwalk Extension Project | South Nation Conservation Authority.
